Sustainable development and renewable energy have been the topic among engineers in the recent two decades especially within the construction industry where the contribution towards global warming and climate change has always been among the forerunners.
The idea of sustainable development and renewable energy never really took off within the construction industry until recent years where sustainability from the UNSDG was emphasize and Malaysia’s involvement came in during the late 2014 where sustainability targets from the United Nation were set. The sustainability targets that were set sparked the initiative of engineers like us at EDP to commit for the future generations.
Our team of engineers at EDP have collaborated with various ESG experts to assist our clients in achieving their aim and requirements towards sustainable developments such as GBI ratings. Our team of engineers have been working with our clients on some of the projects comprising of infrastructure, commercial and business hub and high-rise buildings. EDP also has the experience and capabilities in designing renewable energy systems such as solar energy system and a number of alternative sustainable energy systems for buildings and infrastructures.
