Technical Description
EDP Consulting Group Sdn. Bhd. was involved in providing consulting engineering for Civil Infrastructure, Structural and Geotechnical services for this development. The podium block is founded on an 800mm thick raft foundation, whereas the 3 tower blocks are on bored pile foundation. Bored piles ranging from 600mm to 2000mm in diameter were adopted. Movement joints were introduced at the bored pile foundation and raft interface to cater for differential movements due to the different type of foundation system adopted.
The main structures were predominantly designed using reinforced concrete as for the podium and also for Towers A and C. Tower B is designed using a banded post tensioned slab system. Steel structures were used for the feature roofs and the entrance facade.
