The PJ8 development features a dynamic mix of commercial and service-oriented spaces, encompassing three distinct office blocks and a prominent 39-storey service suites tower. Located approximately 10 km from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, this development boasts a strategic position with excellent connectivity, offering easy access to one of the busiest highways in the Klang Valley, the Federal Highway. The development is composed of three office buildings: Block A, which rises to 13-storey; Block B, standing at 12-storey; and Block C, the tallest of the three at 17-storey. Block C is strategically positioned at the western corner of the complex and includes four basement levels dedicated to parking. These office blocks are designed to provide modern, efficient workspaces, with typical office floors offering a generous 10,000ft² of gross floor area, ensuring ample room for various business needs.
Technical Description
EDP Consulting Group Sdn. Bhd. played a key role as the lead consultant for Civil Infrastructure, Structural, and Geotechnical works on this development. The buildings were primarily designed using reinforced concrete and are situated on Kenny Hill Formation ground conditions. A particularly challenging aspect of the project was the deep excavation required for the four basement levels, as the site is adjacent to the busy Federal Highway, adding complexity to the excavation and construction process.
